When to Replace Your Windshield

Small chips or cracks in your window doesn’t always mean you need to replace the glass. If the size of the chip or small crack is less than 1-inch, it can generally be repaired. If the crack is larger or the glass has been fully penetrated, it will most likely need to be replaced.

Quick Tip!

The earlier you notice a chip or crack and bring it in, the better. Over time a small chip/crack can expand and if it becomes too big the entire panel may need to be replaced. If you notice a crack appear, place a small piece of tape over the crack and make an appointment as soon as you can. This will help the interior part of the glass stay cleaner and allow the repair to create a stronger bond.
